About the Author
Charles W. Dahm, OP, spent five years as a missionary in Bolivia, after which he earned his PhD in political science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He was co-founder and, for twelve years, staff person at the Eighth Day Center for Justice, supported by religious communities in Chicago. He has been pastor of St. Pius V on Chicago's west side since 1986.

common problems

I got this book because I wanted to see what strategies might be recommended for building a strong Hispanic choir (vs. limping along with just a few dedicated people...)and even though the book didn't have answers, it was slightly comforting to know that the Same Problems exist even in a large urban parish. Fr. Dahm has some good YouTube videos that are worth a look-see, too.
