He discusses the bureaucracy of centralized power and the corporatism of worker participation, which he describes as "the opposite side of the same Taylorist coin." Unlike Charles Wrege and Ronald Greenwood's more biographical Fredrick W. Taylor: The Father of Scientific Management; Myth and Reality ( LJ 7/91), this title is a detailed argument that "Taylor's bureaucratic and corporate successors transcended his techniques but not his premises."
