a reminder V2 didn't start everything from scratch

What I liked most about this book is that it lived up to its title. It reminded me that a lot of ideas about reform and renewal were already in the wind. It didn't hurt when she mentioned Conception Abbey, which I attended during that time. It was a good fill-in for all the work that had gone on before the Council met and which gave them a lot of solid research to work with.
