Absolutely the best.
By J. D. Courville
This book is essential for anyone planning a trip to old Cherokee country. We stayed in Cleveland, TN and then used this book to plan our daily outings for five days. Next we moved to Cherokee, NC and again, this guide book provided all the necessary information to ensure we saw all of the historic sites. Road directions, hours of operation, site history, applicable fees, you name it. Everything you need to know to plan and tour is in this book.

Very informative book that is well worth the money

I ordered this book because I live in Cherokee and am interested in learning more about my town. I was pleased to find that my money was not wasted and that this was a good guide even for locals wanting to know more about what Cherokee offers and the culture of the area. I am currently taking a Contemporary Cherokee Culture and Society class in college and this was a valuable resource for an assignment I had about Tourism on the Qualla Boundary.
